Tekken 7 being featured at Tokyo Game Show 2016 – Should we expect big news?

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released their line up of games to be featured during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which takes place September 15-18 in Chiba, Japan. As already expected, Tekken 7 is among that list, and has been the case with every other major events this year, we expect some huge news to be revealed during TGS. Possibly even the biggest.

Some ideas could finally be a release date, a new “new” character, or even more information on the new VR capabilities. We shall see. The stage is set though.
Last year TGS saw more than 268,446 people in attendance, and there should be even more this year. TGS 2013 set a record attendance of 270,197 people. Couple that with the ever-increasing numbers that Twitch has been seeing, and the stage is definitely set for some ground-breaking announcements.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Tekken 7 logo has been updated with a grunge, metallic texture. That’s another clue that new things are on the horizon. We believe this will be the final version of the logo, which should please some people, as it has been expressed that folks thought the previous logo was too plain.
We’ll keep you abreast with all of the latest TGS news as things unfold over the next few weeks.
