Get your hands on Tekken 8 before it comes out.

According to Bamco, closed alpha tests will be conducted in select locations around the world to gather feedback of the new mechanics and battle system being introduced in Tekken 8.
The first opportunity has already been announced, which will only be for players who register to compete in Tekken 7 at EVO Japan 2023 (March 31 thru April 2). In addition, interested persons will need to sign up via a special website that is supposed to launch sometime this month. In the case there are a large number of applications, testers will be selected by raffle.

Bamco has historically been known for always releasing new Tekken games in arcades first. They did this to test game mechanics, fix any major issues, as well as bugs and much more. And in maybe a year or so later, the game would then release on console. Tekken 7 was the last game to be released in this way. It was announced late 2014, entered arcades in 2015, and didn’t release globally until June 2017.
Well, arcades are now virtually dead. Because of that, Bamco has no choice but to roll Tekken 8 out in this way. They want the game to be perfect upon release, so I’m all for it.
