Being a Tekken fan, you’re most probably familiar with the term Zaibatsu, but do you know the history behind it? Zaibatsu (zai = wealth & batsu = clique/group) is a Japanese term which refers to industrial and financial business conglomerates in the Empire of Japan. Although the word was coined in the 19th Century, it was not commonly used until after World War 1.
