New York Comic Con is underway today and some Tekken 7 news has already hit the streets. According to ComicBook.com, Tekken will soon be “coming to a comic book near you.” They have exclusively confirmed that Titan Comics will be publishing new comics based on the fighting game in 2017.

“Tekken is one of the most exciting games on the market, and as a lifelong fan, I can’t wait to delve more into these characters’ thrilling stories!” said Titan Comics editor Jessica Burton, “The incredible visuals and fighting pace are sure to make a brilliant transition into comics, one we’re delighted to be adding to our games line!”
Titan has not yet named the creative team for the Tekken series, but stated another announcement would be coming “very shortly,” which could even be before New York Comic Con comes to a close.
