E3 2016: New battle mechanics in Tekken 7 make it ‘more accessible’ to casual audience at large

Yahoo Esports caught up with Bandai Namco’s Brand Manager Mark Religioso at E3 to talk about what Tekken 7 console homecoming could mean to the FGC. He also breaks down what the new mechanics (Power Crush, Rage Art, Rage Drive) are in Tekken 7, and how these features make it more appealing to casuals. In another interview during E3, Michael Murray (Senior Game Designer for Tekken) stated that they aimed not only to make Tekken fun to play, but also fun to watch with its slow motion effects and more. This, too, will appeal to the masses and casuals.
